[Parasite]

If you are user of Webshots Desktop, a tool that renews every day your wallpaper with images of great beauty, this program is going to you to enchant.

The images of Webshots are spectacular, but they have an own format of the program (WBC and WBZ) that does not allow you to keep them like photos “normal” nor to reuse them in other documents… until today.

WBC2JPG is one sencill?sima utility with which you will be able to convert to format JPG your collection of wallpapers of Webshots, or of complete way or selecting a category in individual.

It's very easy to use, very fast and with excellent results. The answer to a request often formulated by the users of Webshots Desktop.

If you use Total Commander, there is WebShots WCX Plugin.

It works perfectly, I use it since 2005. Its author does not

support it anymore, so it cannot make WBZ archives.

There is only one bug: extracted files have file dates far

in the future.

Supported formats are:

WBC, WBP: create, add, extract
WB0, WBD, WBO: create, extract
WB1: create, extract
SPV: create, extract
WBZ: extract

I have it and keep for years, but I can't test it - I do not use TC. Soon I will add that to this section, too.

I used it since 2000 and it works still fine fpr extracting. Unfortunately I had no chance to create any WBZ-archive here, I always get an error. Did you tried to create an archive succesfully ?

In 2004 the author wrote that WBZ create feature is planned

for the next version.

The last version is 0.981 from 2004, so WebShots WCX is to

be used as abandonware.

Features already working:
- extracting: all formats
- creating new archives: all formats except WBZ
- adding additional files to archives: all formats where applicable (WBC
  and WBP). Thumbnails are automatically created and added to archives
  when packing.

Further features planned:
- creating new WBZ files
- deleting files from archives where applicable (WBC and WBP)
