[Parasite]

Ultimate Webshots Converter (also known under the short name "UWC"), is a Webshots pictures converter (see www.webshots.com).
It is able to show and save into JPEG files the pictures contained in the following files :

• .WBC and .WBP - Webshots Collections
• .WBZ - Downloaded Webshots pictures
• .WB1 and .WBD - Webshots pictures

It can do batch conversion, rename strange webshots filenames into the title of the picture, allows you to browse through webshots pictures and collections, and extract whole or individual pictures.
UWC is available in 4 versions :

• UWC 1.6 (Windows) - Stable version, recommended
  Available in bulgarian, chinese, czech, dutch, english, farsi, french, german, greek, hebrew, hungarian, indonesian, italian, japanese, korean, polish, portuguese, russian, serbocroat, spanish, turkish.
• UWC 2.0 (Windows) - Alpha version, not all features for the moment
• kUWC (Linux) - Developed by Serge Weinstock
• xUWC (Mac OSX) - Developed by Yuriy Gorvitovskiy

also known as
cWebshots CLI.exe

 

This programm can only generate WB1-files from .JPG-files and WBC/WBZ-Archives from .JPG-Files.
When you send a WB1-file to a WBZ-archive the program reconverts the WB1-file back into .JPG-file.

The Program has some bugs, it can not save WB1-files within those WBC-or WBZ-archives.

The Program saves the real JPG-files and gave them a new extensiion (suffix): WB1.

 

You know, real WB1-files are encrypted by the header WWBB1111 and are always exactly 8 Bits longger than the original .JPG-file.

 

I hope you understand what I like to say.

By the way UWC 2.0 beta 6 has not been developed further.If you like, let me search the webaddress or send you the originalious files.
