It seems that WS is going for a paid-only content delivery.

I've just installed the latest WS client (which says "50 free photos on sign-up!"), signed-up, and........guess what?

 

There was an immediate alert that my "current membership is expired". NO ANY picture seen, 5 minutes after a fresh, all-new signup.

 

It sucks more and more. It just wants MONEY.

Missed the good old MEGA-popular WS (those WBZ-filled times)

 

PS: ohh, and it hangs every 5...10min.

Well, you are right. Perhaps you must delete all cookies and any other traces that left WS on your PC. I did it several month ago and it worked, but now ?!

 

They don't put any effort into their free photos:

• Incorrect or missing descriptions or photographers
• Geographical ignorance
• Simple letters, no umlauts in German
• Letter turner
• and so on ...

Perhaps you must delete all cookies

That's their own app, mate. Not a browser.
No any cookie control is there.

Now it is simple: no photos in their own app + "Your membership has expired. You must go premium" right at the moment of an all-fresh registration.
Yawn.

Yeah, the server's HDD got failed and some latest attachments are still to be recovered and restored (hopefully).
But not that many - just a few very latest ones.

It seems that I was able to restore all the missed images.
Any issues with the images - please post here.
But still need a new HDD it seems....the spare one is not that stable, and overheats easily.
