Devils Elbow is a small unincorporated community located in Lincoln County, Oregon, in the United States. It is situated along the Alsea River, approximately 14 miles east of the city of Waldport. The community is named after a sharp bend in the river that resembles an elbow. Devils Elbow is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for fishing, kayaking, hiking, and camping in nearby forests. The Alsea Falls Recreation Site, just a few miles from Devils Elbow, features a waterfall, swimming holes, and picnic areas. The community has a rich history, with logging and fishing being the primary industries in the area. Today, it is a quiet, peaceful place with a few homes, a general store, and a post office. The population of Devils Elbow is estimated to be around 50 people.
