What is the reason behind the size drop of the images since the end of 2015? I just noticed now that photos from 2015 were mostly over 2 megabyte. Some of them even occupied more than 3 megabytes.
In contast these days average image size is 400 kbyte, 1 megabyte tops. Is this because quality drop or jpgs can be compressed more efficiently these days?
